The Board of Directors of the Stroke Comeback Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Suzanne Coyle as the new Executive Director of the organization as of June of this year, upon the retirement of our founder Darlene Williamson.
Ms. Coyle is uniquely qualified for this position. She has been at Stroke Comeback Center since 2008 and is currently the Program Director. She has earned the trust and respect of our professional team, our members and their families, and the larger stroke community. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, having a long tenure at the MedStar National Rehabilitation Network, most recently in McLean, Virginia. In addition, Ms. Coyle earned an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
