Kalikie Classic 2021

2021 Kalikie Classic

Despite the pandemic, we were able to safely host the 13th Annual Kalikie Classic Golf Tournament at Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club on October 6th, after being washed out on September 22nd! Our golfers managed to elude the rain on the new date and had a great day of golf!

Specials thanks go to this year’s Kalikie Partner, Double Wood Farm. Other major sponsors include: Peter Knapp Realty, Joanne Addas, The Koches Family Foundation and Chris & Christie “Kalikie” Arnold.

This year’s Kalikie Cup trophy was won by Mike Guadagnini, Tim Hofacre, Justin Taft and Ryan Doughty.

Christie and everyone at the Center are already looking forward to hosting this great tourney next year.  Mark it on your calendar – September 14, 2022 at Raspberry Falls. See you then!

Benefit of Chocolate 2020

Benefit of Chocolate 2020

Our annual Benefit of Chocolate Gala was scheduled for March 26, 2020 at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with George and Kathy Vincent as Event Co-Chairs. Unfortunately, we were not able to safely hold the event given COVID-19 restrictions and our concern for the safety of our attendees and event staff. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, donors, and ticket holders, this year’s Benefit of Chocolate raised over $40,000 in donations to support our ongoing programs for stroke and brain trauma survivors. We hope to resume our annual Benefit of Chocolate Gala in 2021.

Thank you to our sponsors: The Vincent Family, Chris Reynolds, Joanne Addas, Koches Family Foundation, Mary Agee, AMR Commercial, LLC, The Bolton Family, Philip & Marianne Coyle,  Joan Curtis, EagleBank, Gary & Vicki Kirkbride, Bill & and Jennifer Manders, Joyce McCarty, Raymond & Julie McGraw, The Monitor Group, LLC, Pebble Beach Associates, LLC,  Elizabeth Scott, Janet Weller
