Loudoun Headway Project
The end of June brought the conclusion of our Loudoun Headway Project. We would like to thank everyone who supported us as we made headway in Loudoun County over the past year, especially The Claude Moore Charitable Foundation who provided us with a wonderful home in Leesburg. We’d also like to thank the Community Foundation for Loudoun/Northern Fauquier, Leesburg Daybreak Rotary Foundation, Inc., and the many dedicated professionals and volunteers who supported our efforts in Loudoun County.
For the time being, we will continue to serve residents of Loudoun County through our virtual programs – just as we do all stroke and brain trauma survivors during this pandemic. We are so appreciative of the warm welcome we received from the local community and look forward to determining what the future will bring once we can safely resume in-person services. For more information about SCC programs available in Loudoun County, please contact Suzanne Coyle, Executive Director at .

On December 8th, 125 SCC members, family, friends, professionals and others from the community gathered at the Vienna Community Center for our annual holiday celebration. Mind Matters 2019
Over 85 friends and supporters of the Stroke Comeback Center came together on October 25, 2019 at the Tysons Corner Hyatt Regency to enjoy an afternoon with local author and activist, Abby Maslin. She shared an unforgettable story not only of love and commitment in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds but also of finding and creating personal identity and authenticity within the realm of caregiving and disability. Special thanks to our event sponsors for making this event possible: MedStar NRH, Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation, Tell Me Town Foundation, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and Genentech.
Special thanks to our top sponsors
