At the Stroke Comeback Center, small group programs (3 - 5 people) offer stroke survivors
the opportunity to work on overcoming communication deficits within a shared interest environment. Groups form in response
to client requests and adhere to a schedule that meets their needs. These are examples of groups that we have scheduled in
the past. Programs are subject to availability.

To strengthen communication skills associated with a mutual interest

- Movie and a Nibble
To develop communication skills around special challenges
- "Mind Over Matter" - Motor Speech Group (for individuals with apraxia or dysarthria)
- Facilitated / Alternative Group (for individuals who use assistive devices)
